Emma being an amazing writer as always, and me trying to keep up.
I spent this week drawing for a piece that the amazingly gifted Emma Barrie has written about her grandma. It consists of 10 vignettes and I did a little drawing for each one. Above is a sneak peak.
In other comic news, last week I took out Vanessa Davis’ Make Me a Woman from the library and then immediately went and bought it. Now I’m wondering whether or not I should write her…and if I wrote her what I would say…and if she would even respond. Seriously though, she’s amazing.
So my (Jesse’s) scanner has been not working more than it has been working so I haven’t been able to post anything recently. Hopefully by the time I get my New Years comic done the scanner will be back to liking me again. Until then, happy new year! Also, try to get your hands on Joyce Farmer’s Special Exits. It’s truly exquisite and yes, it made both me and R Crumb cry.
